Amazon wins approval to launch over 3,000 satellites to rival Starlink

SpaceX wanted Amazon to be limited to an initial constellation of 578, citing concerns over possible collisions and interference with its Starlink satellites orbiting around the same altitude at which Kuiper will operate.
